Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharmacy) Eligibility Criteria

 

Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharmacy) is a short-term diploma course in the pharmaceutical industry This course is related to the concepts of biochemistry, pharmacology, and toxicology. The program is designed to provide a study of various chemical salts, applications, and uses in medicine. After the completion of the course, there are a great number of jobs in government and private hospitals, private pharmacy stores, pharmaceutical companies, etc.

Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharmacy) Eligibility Criteria

To pursue Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharmacy) course in Satyadeo College of Pharmacy, a candidate must have fulfilled the following eligibility criteria:-

  • The candidates must qualify their 12th with a minimum of 50% with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM), or 3 years degree courses in Science.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% at the 10+2 level.
  • Any other qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharmacy) Course Duration

Diploma in Pharmacy is a short term diploma level program of 2 years after 10+2 examination. The candidates who are interested to make a career in the medical field can pursue a D.Pharmacy course. At the time of study, students will study issues of human cloning, distribution of scarce resources, stem cells use, and the role of genetic testing. After the completion of the course, students can go for higher study or start working in government and private medical organizations.

 

B Pharmacy Course Eligibility Criteria

  • Students must have passed their Class 12 board exams with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biology from a recognized board.
  • A student must score 50% aggregate marks in 12th.

B Pharmacy Course Duration after 12th

It is a four-year bachelor's degree with a total of 8 semesters of theoretical and practical training in various aspects of B pharmacy course. The course includes the practice of discovering, preparing, producing, dispensing, reviewing, and monitoring medications.

  • The curriculum is designed so that students gain a strong base in both practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for a career in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • The course typically covers a broad range of subjects related to pharmaceutical sciences.
  • It consists of both core and elective studies.
